📜 Overview
For the Change++ Design Challenge, I worked on creating a mobile app design for Unheard Voices Outreach. The app helps formerly incarcerated individuals connect with resources, re-entry consultants, and community volunteers. Based on the Software Requirements Specification (SRS), I designed key features of the platform.
🪜 Process
My design process focused on creating a user-friendly, intuitive interface while maintaining brand consistency. The project involved producing wireframes for the app's key features and designing a home screen for easy navigation.
🗝️ Features
Available Resources
Displays a scrollable list of resources offered or approved by UVO, including each resource's title, organization, and a brief summary, which users can access via a menu after logging in.
Consultants Contact
Provides a scrollable list of re-entry consultants with brief descriptions and pictures; users can view detailed consultant profiles and request contact through an in-app notification system.
Community List
Functions similarly to the re-entry consultant page but for community volunteers, allowing users to browse volunteer profiles and request to contact them through a notification system.
Volunteer Application
Offers a form for unregistered volunteers to apply as transitional consultants, with the form available until their application is reviewed and approved by UVO admins.
